Abstract
After ten years of intense work and research, Professor Andrew Godwin Onokerhorhaye, former Vice—Chancellor of the University of Benin, and one of the most profound protagonists of education in Nigeria has finally written his memoirs. A compendium of 767 pages of facts and data personally written by the great educational leader himself cannot surprise those of us who know him well. As Vice-Chancellor of the University of Benin in the 1990s, he wrote and personally launched more than 20 books in a single day, a fit never again replicated by any serving Vice-Chancellor of Nigerian University.
