Afr J Reprod Health Improvement Survey

The African Journal of Reproductive Health (AJRH) was established in 1997 by the Women’s Health and Action Research Centre (WHARC), a Nigerian non-governmental organization, whose mission is to promote the health and social well-being of women through research, evidence-based advocacy and service delivery. The journal was established as a peer-review international, multidisciplinary journal, and bilingual journal with the objective to “provide a forum for African authors, as well as others working in and about Africa, to share findings on all aspects of reproductive health, and to disseminate innovative, relevant and useful information on reproductive health throughout the continent”. To identify relevant operational methods for improving the working and performances of the journal in the coming years, a need assessment is being carried out under the sponsorship of the Consortium for Research on Unsafe Abortion in Africa. Included in the objectives of the need assessment is to determine the perceptions of major stakeholders regarding the workings and effectiveness of the journal.
