
African Journal of Reproductive Health (AJRH)
is a Multidisciplinary and International Journal published tri-annually
(April, August and December) by the Women's Health and Action Research
Centre (a Non-governmental Organization with headquarters in Nigeria).
The publication of the journal started in 1997. As at April 2007,
31 editions have been published
The journal focuses on publishing original research, comprehensive
review articles, short reports and commentaries in reproductive
health in Africa. It strives to provide a forum for both African and
Foreign authors working in Africa to share findings in all aspects
of reproductive health and also to disseminate innovative, relevant
and useful information on reproductive health throughout the
continent.
AJRH is indexed and included
in Index Medicus/ MEDLINE. The abstracts and tables of contents are
published online by INASP at http://www..ajol..info/ajol/ while the text
is published by Bioline International at http://www.bioline.org.br/. It
is also abstracted in Ulrich’s Periodical, Feminist Periodicals and
African Books Publishing Records.
The
African
Journal of Reproductive Health
now uses a manuscript management
software, Journal Manager, allowing online submission, tracking
and review of manuscripts. All author should therefore
submit and monitor the status of their manuscripts online.
